Need to enter the same information on
several Property Records? Use the Copy and Paste
|
|
keyboard
shortcuts - Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste -
to copy the information from the field on the
1st Property and then Paste it into the
appropriate field on the rest of the Properties. |

Need to run a quick calculation? Don't get out pencil
and paper or your calculator - simply |
|
access the
calculator from the Help Menu. Use the the
keyboard number pad to do the calculation. Need
to enter the results in a field on the Property
Record? Hit the Ctrl+C on the keyboard to copy
the results, click in on the appropriate field,
and hit Ctrl+V to paste the results into the
field. |

Don't forget - once you edit and save
on a Property Record, that PIN will be placed on the
Quick |
|
PIN List.
You can return to the PIN by right Clicking to
access the Quick PIN List. You can also access
the Quick PIN List from Valuation, Global
Re-Assessment, and many other feature. Just did
a valuation and are returning to the Property
Record to view it? Don't do a PIN search. Just
access the Quick PIN List - the PIN will be at
the top of the list. |

Want to get rid of a Scratch Pad
Query that you no longer need? Just go to the Utilities
feature |
|
on the main
screen. In the list of Utilities, you will see
Delete Queries. When you delete a query, be
sure that you do want to delete it because once
you click delete it will be deleted - no warning
message will appear. |

|
Remember - Always have a verified
backup of your system before you upgrade VPAMS. |
