Resolution Independence – View drawings
regardless of the resolution in |

640x480, 800x600, 1064x780, etc. You will need
to resave drawings with arcs in their original
resolution before this will take effect. |
Expanded Virtual Drawing Field – Use the Scroll
Bars under the View |
|
Menu to move as far to the
right or up and down as necessary to complete
your drawing. Objects can now be as many square
miles in size as necessary. |
Assign Drawings to Visual PAMSPro™ directly from
Visual PAMSDraw™. |
|
Once the Drawing is linked to
a PIN in Drawing Properties, simply click on the
Tools Menu and select Link Drawing to Visual
PAMSPro™. You can then choose the appropriate
Drawing Description and Drawing Type. Click on
Continue and the Drawing will appear in the
Drawings pull-down list for the appropriate PIN
in Visual PAMSPro™. |
Draw Angles using the Arrow Keys – When creating
a Polyline using the |
|
arrow keys, you can now enter
the angle at which you would like the line to be
drawn. |
The Copy and Paste Edit Menu and Right Click
options are fully functional. |
New Select Text toolbar button. This button
allows you to select and move |
|
Free Text, Object Text, and
Element Text. |
Use the Select Text button to select Object
and/or Element Text. You can |
|
move the text anywhere on the
drawing field. You can even Right Click to make
the Object or Element Text Invisible. If you
would like to return the Object or Element Text
to its original position, simply select the
text, Right Click, and choose Reset Text to
Default Offset. The text will immediately go
back to its default location. |
When you move an Object, its Element and/or
Object Text will move along |

with the Object, even if you
have relocated/offset the Element and/or Object
Text. |
Free Text – Click on the Text Select button on
the toolbar and select the |
|
Free Text. Move the Free Text
anywhere you wish on the drawing field or Right
Click to Edit or Delete the Free Text. |
Zoom Options – Access the Zoom Menu to zoom in
or out of a drawing for |
|
better viewing. You can even
Zoom while you are drawing a Polyline Object. |
Choose the Best Fit option under the Zoom Menu
to automatically fit the |
|
drawing to the drawing field. |
Automatically center a drawing on the drawing
field. Simply select the |
|
Center Drawing option from
the Zoom Menu. |
